Private Prescriptions

Please be advised that prescriptions issued by a Private Consultant cannot be converted into NHS Prescriptions.  You need to take your Private Presciption to a Chemist who will advise you of the charge.  Even if this is high, we are not allowed by new NHS rules to issue them.

Appointments
Appointments are available to book in advance and on the day and patients are reminded that booking on the day is very useful in certain circumstances, but is not the only option for booking an appointment.

Registration with the practice

If you wish to register at the Surgery and live within our Practice area, you will need to visit the Surgery and collect our registration forms. When you register you will also be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. This is because it can take a considerable time for us to receive your medical records.

NB We are in the process of updating he website to include an Online Registration Feature for both Private and NHS patients.  All applicaitons will be subject to proof of address and identity before the registration is accepted.

Moved House?

Please let us know as soon as possible if your address changes. Should you move outside of our Practice boundary, you may be required to register at a new GP practice nearer your new home.
