NOTICES

Christmas Surgery Hours

The Surgery will be closed for the public bank holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day).  If you require medical assistance during the bank holidays please contact 111.  If it is an emergency please contact 999.

Normal opening hours of 8am to 6.30pm remain in place on all other days over the Christmas period.

Flu Clinics

For those who qualify for a NHS flu vaccine, clinics are now being held.  Please telephone the surgery to book your appointment.

Private Prescriptions
Please be advised that prescriptions issued by a Private Consultant cannot be converted into NHS Prescriptions. You need to take your Private Presciption to a Chemist who will advise you of the charge. Even if this is high, we are not allowed by new NHS rules to issue them.

Non-English Speakers

These fact sheets have been written to explain the role of UK health services, the National Health Service (NHS), to newly-arrived individuals seeking asylum. They cover issues such as the role of GPs, their function as gatekeepers to the health services, how to register and how to access emergency services.

Special care has been taken to ensure that information is given in clear language, and the content and style has been tested with user groups.
